You’ve officially completed the TTC College Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Counseling Certificate Program- congratulations!

That’s a huge milestone, and we’re proud of your achievement.

Now it’s time to take the next steps toward full certification. Below, you’ll find a step-by-step guide to help you complete your post-program requirements:

Once you complete the program you must continue to complete your externship required hours according to your accrediting body.

Forward your transcript to your chosen certifying organization:

Begin your application for the Substance Use Disorder Counselor certification exam through your selected certifying body.

Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist Program

You’ve officially completed the TTC College Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist Program- congratulations! 

Below, you’ll find a step-by-step guide to help you complete your post-program requirements: 

TTC College will email a free copy of your certificate and transcripts. Any additional copies can be requested through the following steps here.

Please email ttccrecords@tarzanatc.org for any additional transcript questions.

You will submit your training certificate through your CalMHSA portal. This will be part of your initial certification application.

Application Fee: $100 (non-refundable)

Training certificates are valid for two years from the date of completion. 

Once you have submitted your certificate, CalMHSA will review your entire application. Once approved, your application will be valid for 12 months from the approval date. Meaning you have 1 year (12 months) to take your certification exam. 

CalMHSA portal will prompt you to pay for your exam fee before being able to scehdule an appointment. Students with vouchers or scholarships will be given directions on how to apply it to the exam fee.

Exam Fee: $150 (non-refundable)

TTC College offers monthly PSS Certification Exam Prep workshops open to current students and alumni. Please click the following link to sign up for an upcoming workshop: https://www.ttccollege.org/pss-exam-workshop/ .

CalMHSA will email you with instructions on how to schedule your exam appointment. You will be able to choose whether to take the exam in-person or online. Each format will have different requirements and preparation.
