Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Counselor Certification
Start Your Path in Substance Use Counseling.
Tuition: $3,500 ($3,250 base tuition + $250 non-refundable student registration fee)
Additional Certification Costs (Paid Directly to Certifying Body*):
CCAPP Pathway (RADT → CADC):
- Initial Registration: $100
- Exam Fee (IC&RC): $155
- Total Certification Cost: $255

CADTP Pathway (SUDRC → SUDCC):
- Initial Registration: $75
- Exam Fee: $175
- Total Certification Cost: $250

Note: Fees are established by the certifying body (CCAPP or CADTP) and are subject to change. Additional costs such as membership fees, required orientation courses, or exam retake fees may apply.
*For students sponsored by a third-party payer or scholarship, approved certification-related costs may be covered. In such cases, the College may provide a prepaid voucher for eligible certification fees, in accordance with sponsor guidelines.

Format: Online with live virtual sessions
Peer Support Specialist (PSS) Certification
Empowering lived experience into professional impact.
Tuition: $1,667 ($1,600 base tuition + $67 non-refundable student registration fee)
Certification Costs (Paid Directly to CalMHSA):
- Application Fee: $100
- Exam Registration Fee: $150
- Total Certification Cost: $250

What is the payment structure for the Substance Use Counseling Program?
Registration fee is due upon signing enrollment documents.
First payment is due on the 1st of the month, each month, until all payments have been completed.

- SUD 103: $575.00
- SUD 104: $575.00
- SUD 105: $537.00
- SUD 106: $518.00
Final paid = $3,250.00.
What is the payment structure for the Medi-Cal Peer Specialist Program?
Registration fee is due upon signing enrollment documents.
Due to the short duration of the course, tuition is required upfront. However, students may contact the TTCC Finance Department to inquire about available payment plan options.
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept card and checks.
How do I obtain a receipt of payment or proof of payment?
Please email ttccfinance@tarzanatc.org with your request.
What if I need an extension on a payment?
Please email ttccfinance@tarzanatc.org as soon as possible.
Are there additional hidden fees?
A $30.00 late fee charge may be applied for delayed payments. Waivers are granted at a case by case basis. Please email ttccfinance@tarzanatc.org if you would like to request a waiver.
Do you provide tax documents (1099)?
TTC College does not offer tax documents such as the 1099. We can provide a receipt of payment. Please contact ttccfinance@tarzanatc.org.
TTC College Financial Support Options
At this time, TTC College does not accept FAFSA as a form of payment.
SUD Counseling Program
TTC College is proud to offer our Edward D. Senella Scholarship for individuals interested in becoming Subtance Use Counselors, without having to worry about the financial burden. The scholarship is intended to cover the costs associated to the Substance Use Disorder Certification Program.

Peer Support Specialist Program
TTC College currently does not have an internal scholarship for the Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist Program. We encourage all interested individuals to apply to the California Mental health Serices Authority (CalMHSA) scholarship. In partnership with the Substance Abuse Prevention and Control (SAPC), CalMHSA is providing a limited number of scholarships intended to cover the costs associated to the Medi-Cal Peer Program.
