Ashley McGowan (she/they) has joined our team as the Chair of the office of Peer Support and currently oversees the administration of the Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist Training Program. They work closely with the Lead Instructor and Academic Specialist to ensure the application process, enrollment, scheduling, scholarships, and instruction run smoothly for our students. She also supports data collection and curriculum development for the program.   

Ashley received her B.A. in Political Science with a concentration in International Relations and a minor in Feminist Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She previously worked for TTC’s We Exist program which was dedicated to getting LGBTQIA2-S+ youth connected with essential resources in LA county. In addition to her role at the college, she also participates in Tarzana’s Sexual Orientation and Gender Diversity Committee to support efforts in creating an affirming environment for both patients, and employees at TTC.”
