Background & Eligibility Notice
Tarzana Treatment Centers College welcomes all applicants, including those who are justice-impacted. A past conviction does not automatically disqualify you from admission to our certification programs.
However, please note the following important considerations:
- Some practicum sites and employers may require background checks.
- Placement agencies may have restrictions based on criminal history.
- Completion of practicum is a required component for program completion and certification.
We strongly encourage applicants with prior convictions to speak with our Admissions Team early in the application process. Our staff can help explore placement options and identify supportive resources to facilitate successful placement and program completion.
