Sebrin Yousef joined our team as the Development Coordinator for TTC College (TTCC). Sebrin will be primarily working to oversee the Student Affairs Department and the programs that are running at TTCC. As the Development Coordinator, Sebrin helps with student success by planning events for students with the Outreach Recruiter, providing support to the IT Specialist and Student Services Representative. She will also be leading the 2023 Advisory Committee Board for the new school year.
Sebrin graduated with her Master of Public Health with an emphasis on Community Health Education at the California State University, Northridge. She also has her Bachelor’s in Public Health from California State University, Los Angeles. Previously, Sebrin interned with non-profit organizations in the areas of domestic violence and mental health as well as with the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) in their Maternal, Child, and Adolescent Health Division. At CDPH, she focused her work on Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs (CYSHCN) by reaching out to stakeholders, researched more on Title V funds, and collecting data on home visiting and CYSHCN.
With her background, Sebrin is interested in mental health overall and to break the stigma among the marginalized communities and being an advocate to provide more resources for mothers in maternal mental health. In her spare time, she loves to read and try new foods.
