Clarita Lantican, Ph.D. Dr. Lantican completed her Ph.D. degree in Sociology at Purdue University with specialization in economic and gender inequalities. Currently, she is the Research and Data Supervisor at Tarzana Treatment Centers (TTC), Program Development Department. She leads a team composed of professionals with expertise in epidemiology, criminology, quantitative research, qualitative research, and research methods.
For more than 18 years at TTC, Dr. Lantican has been engaged in program/project evaluation of state and federal-funded grants focusing on substance use disorder (SUD), mental health, HIV prevention and treatment and other behavioral health related issues. She also oversees the implementation of projects involving SUD patient navigation and opioid overdose trainings. She is currently involved in a federal grant, assessing the impact of COVID-19 on SUD and mental health patients.
Dr. Lantican enjoys reading and gardening. Her life-long dream is to go sky diving.
